حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الطَّحَّانُ الْمِصْرِيُّ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هُرَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ مُزْدَرِعٌ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِآلِ أُسَيْدٍ فَكَارَاهَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنْ يَأْخُذَ كِرَاءَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَيُؤَدِّيَ إِلَيْهِمْ إِتَاءَ أَرْضِهِمْ» «وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَحْمَدَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ» قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَالْإِتَاءُ هُوَ الْقِيمَةُ قِيمَةُ مَا يَخْرُجُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by him while he was a farmer and asked him about it. He informed him that the land belonged to the family of Usayd and that he had leased it from them. The Prophet ﷺ commanded him 'to take his lease payment from them and pay them the value of their land.' The wording is that of Ahmad b. Salih. Ahmad b. Salih said: The 'ita' is the value, the value of what it produces.
