حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ ذَرٍّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
جَاءَنَا رَافِعٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ يَرْفُقُ بِنَا وَطَاعَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْفَقُ بِنَا نَهَانَا أَنْ نَزْرَعَ أَرْضًا إِلَّا أَرْضًا يَمْلِكُ أَحَدُنَا رَقَبَتَهَا أَوْ مَنِيحَةً يَمْنَحُهَا رَجُلٌ»

✧ Rafi' came to us from the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade us from a matter that was convenient for us, but obedience to the Messenger of God ﷺ is more convenient for us. He forbade us from cultivating any land except land whose neck one of us owns, or a grant that a man bestows."
