حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ يَقُولُ نُبِّئْتُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ فَجَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَتَحَدَّثَ مَا قَضَى لَهُ فَلَمَّا قَامَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ مَنْ هَذَا؟» قَالَتْ دِحْيَةُ قَالَتْ وَلَايْمُ اللهِ مَا حَسِبْتُهُ إِلَّا دِحْيَةَ حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ بِخَبَرِ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ قَالَ مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ أَبِي لِأَبِي عُثْمَانَ مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قَالَ مِنْ أُسَامَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had Umm Salamah with him when Jibril ﷺ came and spoke as was decreed. When he stood up, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Umm Salamah, who is this?" She said: "Dihyah." She said: "By Allah, I did not think he was anyone but Dihyah until I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon about the news of Jibril ﷺ." Mu'tamir said: My father said to Abu 'Uthman: "From whom did you hear it?" He said: "From Usamah."
