حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الشِّبَامِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ ذُؤَيْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِبَدَنَةٍ فَقَالَ «إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَخَشِتَ مَوْتَهَا فَانْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ اغْمِسْ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ اضْرِبْ بِهَا صَفْحَتَهَا وَلَا تَطْعَمْ مِنْهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ رُفْقَتِكَ وَاقْسِمْهَا»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a sacrificial camel with him and said: "If any of it becomes defective and you fear it will die, then slaughter it, then dip its sandal in its blood, then strike its side with it. Do not eat from it yourself, nor anyone of your traveling companions, and distribute it."
