حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ أركينَ الْفَرْغَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُفَضَّلٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «نِعْمَ الْفَتَى خُرَيْمٌ لَوْ قَصَّرَ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ وَرَفَعَ مِنْ إِزَارِهِ» قَالَ فَقَالَ خُرَيْمٌ لَا يُجَاوِزُ شَعْرِي أُذُنِي وَلَا إِزَارِي عَقِبِي

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Excellent is the young man Khuraym, if only he would shorten from his hair and raise from his lower garment." Khuraym said: "My hair will not pass my ears and my lower garment will not pass my ankles."
