حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ خَوَّاتُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ بَدْرِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ رَجَعَ مِنَ الطَّرِيقِ فَضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَهْمًا»

Translation

✧ From his father: "In the naming of those who were present with 'Ali ؓ: Khawwat b. Jubayr, a Badri from Banu Haritha. He turned back from the road, so the Messenger of God ﷺ allotted him a share."
