✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped at al-Ji'ranah at his place and made a sacrifice for him, and spent the day with him, and Khalid spent the evening with him. Then the Prophet ﷺ called for the 'Umrah, and the Prophet ﷺ descended with Muharrish to the valley until they reached a place called Ashqab. He said, 'O Muharrish, the water of this place is up to the kurr, and whatever is for Khalid and the rest of the valley is for you, O Muharrish.' Then the Prophet ﷺ scraped the kurr with his hand, and water gushed out, and he drank. Then the Prophet ﷺ called for the 'Umrah and sent Khalid to a man from his companions called Muharrish b. 'Abd Allah. The Prophet ﷺ was at that time afraid of entering Makkah, so he took him by a route that turned him away from those he feared, which he knew, until he completed his rites, and they returned at dawn to Khalid, and Muharrish shaved him, meaning he shaved his head.
