حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَرْدِ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْكَلِمَةِ؟» فَسَكَتَ الرَّجُلُ وَرَأَى أَنَّهُ قَدْ هُجِمَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى شَيْءٍ كَرِهَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ هُوَ؟ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَقُلْ إِلَّا صَوَابًا» فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَنَا قُلْتُهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْجُو بِهَا الْخَيْرَ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَ كَلِمَتَكَ أَيُّهُمْ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى»

✧ A man was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Praise be to Allah, much, good, and blessed therein.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Who is the owner of this word?' The man fell silent, thinking that he had been caught by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for something he disliked. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Who is he? For he has said nothing but what is correct.' The man said, 'I said it, O Messenger of Allah, hoping for good thereby.' He said, 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, I saw thirteen angels hastening to your word, each of them vying to raise it to Allah, Blessed and Exalted.'
