حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الطُّوسِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الدَّهَّانُ ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنِ الْقَرْثَعِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ؟ قَالَ «هَذِهِ السَّاعَةُ فِيهَا تُفْتَحُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلَا تَرْتَجُّ حَتَّى يُصَلَّى الظُّهْرُ فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ أُقَدِّمَ»

Translation

✧ I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what are these four rakʿahs?” He said: “This is the hour in which the gates of heaven are opened and they do not close until Ẓuhr is prayed, so I love to offer them beforehand.”
