حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ كُلْثُومٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ

اسْتَأْذَنْتُ لِأُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فَإِذَا هُوَ مُقَنِّعٌ رَأْسَهُ بِبُرْدٍ لَهُ مَعَافِرِيٍّ فَكَشَفَ الْقِنَاعَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ»

✧ I sought permission for some people from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and he granted them permission. There he was, with his head covered with a striped Yemeni cloak of his. He uncovered his head and then said: “May Allah curse the Jews; they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship.”
