حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا عَرَضَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرِهِ فَقَالَ أَخْبِرْنِي بِمَا يُقَرِّبُنِي مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَيُبَاعِدُنِي مِنَ النَّارِ قَالَ «تَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ وَتَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ»

✧ A bedouin intercepted the Prophet ﷺ during his journey and said, “Tell me what will bring me near Paradise and keep me far from the Fire.” He said, “Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish prayer, give zakāh, and maintain ties of kinship.”
