حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُطَرِّزُ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَأَتْبَعَهُ بِسِتٍّ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَامَ الدَّهْرَ» قَالَ حَفْصٌ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ سَعْدًا فَحَدَّثَنِي
Translation

- ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Usayd al-Aṣbahānī and al-Qāsim b. Zakariyyā al-Muṭarriz
✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: he said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six from Shawwal, it is as though he fasted all time.” Hafs said: Then I met Sa'd and he narrated to me.
