حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ؟ فَقَالَ «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ» وَلَوْ مَضَى السَّائِلُ فِي مَسْأَلَتِهِ لَزَادَهُ

✧ We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about wiping over the leather socks. He said: “For the traveler three days and their nights, and for the resident a day and a night.” And if the questioner had pressed his question, he would have increased it.
