حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ وَأَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَا
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ بَدَأَ رَحْمَةً وَنُبَوَّةً ثُمَّ يَكُونُ رَحْمَةً وَخِلَافَةً ثُمَّ كَائِنًا مُلْكًا عَضُوضًا ثُمَّ كَائِنًا عُتَوًّا وَجَبَرِيَّةً وَفَسَادًا فِي الْأَرْضِ يَسْتَحِلُّونَ الْحَرِيرَ وَالْفُرُوجَ وَالْخُمُورَ يُرْزَقُونَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَيُنْصَرُونَ حَتَّى يَلْقَوُا اللهَ ﷻ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this matter (Islam) began as mercy and prophethood, then it will become mercy and caliphate, then it will become a cruel monarchy, then it will become tyrannical rule, and finally corruption on the earth. They will make silk, sex trade, and alcohol permissible, and they will be provided sustenance based on that, and they will be victorious until they meet Allah."
