حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِي رَبُّ هَذَا الدَّارِ حَرِيزُ أَوْ أَبُو حَرِيزٍ قَالَ لَمَّا انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ «فَوَضَعْتُ يَدَيَّ عَلَى مِيثَرَةِ رَحْلِهِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ مِنْ جِلْدِ شَاةٍ ضَائِنَةٍ»

✧ The owner of this house, Ḥarīz or Abū Ḥarīz, told me: “When I reached the Prophet ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon, I placed my hands on the cushion of his saddle and found it to be from the skin of a wool-bearing sheep.”
