حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ كَانَ لِأَحَدِهِمْ عَشَرَةُ دَنَانِيرَ فَتَصَدَّقَ مِنْهَا بِدِينَارٍ وَكَانَ لِآخَرَ عَشَرَةُ أَوَاقٍ فَتَصَدَّقَ مِنْهَا بِأُوقِيَّةٍ وَآخَرُ كَانَ لَهُ مِائَةُ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَتَصَدَّقَ بِعَشَرَةِ أَوَاقٍ» فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هُمْ فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ كُلٌّ قَدْ تَصَدَّقَ بِعُشْرِ مَالِهِ» قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {لِيُنْفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِنْ سَعَتِهِ}

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Three persons: one of them had ten dinars and gave one dinar of them in charity; another had ten uqiyyas and gave one uqiyya of them in charity; and another had a hundred uqiyyas and gave ten uqiyyas in charity.” Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said, “They are equal in reward; each of them gave a tenth of his wealth.” God ﷻ said: {Let a man of wealth spend out of his wealth}.
