حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ أَنَّ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ قَالَ
لِقَوْمِهِ «اجْتَمِعُوا أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلَاةَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ» فَلَمَّا جَمَعَهُمْ قَالَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا لَا إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا قَالَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ «فَدَعَا بِجَفْنَةٍ فِيهَا مَاءٌ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الظُّهْرَ فَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا اثْنَتَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً يُكَبِّرُ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ وَقَرَأَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَيُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَلِيهِ»

✧ He said to his people, 'Gather so that I may lead you in prayer like the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ.' When he gathered them, he said, 'Is there anyone among you who is not of you?' They said, 'No, except a nephew of ours.' He said, 'A people's nephew is one of them.' Then he called for a large bowl containing water and washed his hands, rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, washed his face three times and his forearms three times, wiped his head, and washed his feet. Then he led them in the noon prayer, in which he said twenty-two takbirs, saying takbir when he prostrated and when he raised his head from prostration, and he recited in the first two rak'ahs the Opening of the Book, and he made those next to him hear it.
