حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَكِيعِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جَنَادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
لَقِيتُ عَمِّي وَقَدِ اعْتَقَدَ رَايَةً فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ؟ فَقَالَ «بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى رَجُلٍ نَكَحَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ أَضْرِبُ عُنُقَهُ وَآخُذُ مَالَهُ» وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَقِيتُ عَمِّي وَخَالَفَهُمَا السُّدِّيُّ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ لَقِيتُ خَالِي وَخَالُهُ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ وَلَمْ يُدْخِلْ بَيْنَ عَدِيٍّ وَالْبَرَاءِ يَزِيدَ

✧ I met my paternal uncle, and he had fastened a banner. I said, 'Where are you heading?' He said, 'The Messenger of God ﷺ sent me to a man who married his father's wife, to strike his neck and take his property.' Thus it was narrated by Ashath b. Sawwar and Zayd b. Abi Unaysa, from Adi b. Thabit, from Yazid b. al-Bara', from his father, who said: I met my paternal uncle. Al-Suddi disagreed with them and narrated it from Adi b. Thabit, from al-Bara', who said: I met my maternal uncle—his maternal uncle was Abu Burda b. Niyar—and he did not include Yazid between Adi and al-Bara'.
