✧ Prohibition and Severeness Towards Insulting Muslims, Excluding and Fighting Them, and Others

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبِي كَانَ يَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ وَكَانَ وَكَانَ فَأَيْنَ هُوَ؟ قَالَ فِي النَّارِ فَكَأنَّ الْأَعْرَابِيَّ وُجِدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَيْنَ أَبُوكَ؟ قَالَ «حَيْثُ مَا مَرَرْتَ بِقَبْرِ كَافِرٍ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِالنَّارِ» قَالَ فَأَسْلَمَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ بَعْدُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ كَلَّفَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَبًا مَا مَرَرْتُ بِقَبْرِ كَافِرٍ إِلَّا بَشَّرْتُهُ بِالنَّارِ

Translation

✧ A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My father used to maintain ties of kinship, and he was, and he was—so where is he?" He said, "In the Fire." It was as if the bedouin was hurt by that, so he said, "O Messenger of God, then where is your father?" He said, "Wherever you pass by the grave of a disbeliever, give him tidings of the Fire." The bedouin later accepted Islam, and he said, "The Messenger of God ﷺ tasked me with a burden; I never passed by the grave of a disbeliever except that I gave him tidings of the Fire."
