حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَكِيعِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جَنَادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ حِزَامِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ النِّسَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالطَّاعَةِ لِأَزْوَاجِهِنِّ وَأَنْ يَتَصَدَّقْنَ وَقَالَ «وَإِنَّ مِنْكُنَّ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ وَجَمَعَ أَصَابِعَهُ وَجُلُّكُنَّ حَطَبُ جَهَنَّمَ» فَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلِمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «لِأَنَّكُنَّ تُكْثِرْنَ اللَّعْنَ وَتَكْفُرْنَ الْعَشِيرَ وَتُسَوِّفْنَ الْخَيْرَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ addressed the women one day, admonishing them and commanding them to have taqwa (consciousness) of Allah and obedience to their husbands, and to give in charity. He said, "Indeed, among you are those who will enter Paradise while gathering firewood, and among you are those whose scalp is like the skin of Hell." So he separated between his fingers and said, "Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?" A woman asked. He said, "Because you curse frequently and show ingratitude to your spouses and you are ungrateful for the good done to you."
