حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

رَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَسَمِعَ نِسَاءَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَلْكَاهُنَّ فَقَالَ «لَكِنَّ حَمْزَةَ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ» فَجِئْنَ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارُ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ عِنْدَهُ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ فَقَالَ «يَا وَيْحَهُنَّ إِنَّهُنَّ هَاهُنَا حَتَّى الْآنَ مُرْهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ returned on the day of Uhud and heard the women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their dead. He said, "But Hamzah has no weepers." So the women of the Ansar came and wept over Hamzah in his presence. He woke up while they were weeping and said, "Woe to them! They are still here until now. Tell them to go back and not weep over any dead after today."
