حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ الْوَاقِدِيِّ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ أَبِي رَجُلًا قَصِيرًا دَحْدَاحًا غَلِيظًا ذَا هَامَةٍ شَثْنَ الْأَصَابِعِ وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا»
