حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا هِشَامٌ أَبُو الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهَا ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ مُصِيبَةٌ فَقَالَ إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ جَدَّدَ اللهُ لَهُ مِنْ أَجْرِهَا مِثْلَ مَا كَانَ يَوْمَ أَصَابَتْهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever is afflicted by a calamity and says when he remembers it: “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return,” Allah will renew for him the reward of it, the like of what it was on the day it afflicted him.
