حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَلَّمَ طَلْحَةُ عَامِرَ بْنَ فُهَيْرَةَ بِشَيْءٍ فَقَالَ

لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَهْلًا يَا طَلْحَةُ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا كَمَا شَهِدْتَهُ وَخَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِمَوَالِيهِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Gently, O Talha, for he witnessed Badr as you did. And the best of you is the best to his clients.'
