حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصُّوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُمَيْرٍ عَمُّ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ الطَّحَّانِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ فِي خُزَاعَةَ فَجَاءُوا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ تَرِكَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ فَقِيلَ لَهُمْ نَنْحَرُ أَوْ نَبِيعُ فَنَقْسِمُ قَالَ انْحَرُوا قَالَ «فَجَلَسَ عَلَى جَفْنَةٍ فَلَمَّا وُضِعَتْ فَارَتْ نَارًا»
Translation

✧ I was in Khuza'ah when they brought something from the inheritance of al-Husayn. It was said to them: 'Shall we slaughter or sell and divide?' He said: 'Slaughter.' He said: 'He sat on a large bowl, and when it was placed, it boiled with fire.'
