حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ

ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا مُجَاشِعُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُتَغَيِّرَ اللَّوْنِ فَقَالَ «أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ أُوتِيتُ فَوَاتِحَ الْكَلَامِ وَخَوَاتِمَهُ فَأَطِيعُونِي مَا دُمْتُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ فَإِذَا ذُهِبَ بِي فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ ﷻ أَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ أَتَتْكُمْ بِالرَّوْحِ وَالرَّاحِةِ كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللهِ سَبَقَ أَتَتْكُمْ فِتَنٌ كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ كُلَّمَا ذَهَبَ رُسُلٌ جَاءَ رُسُلٌ تَنَاسَخَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ فَصَارَتْ مُلْكًا رَحِمَ اللهُ مَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا وَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا كَمَا دَخَلَهَا أَمْسِكْ يَا مُعَاذُ وَأَحْصِ» قَالَ فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُ خَمْسَةً قَالَ «يَزِيدُ لَا يُبَارِكُ اللهُ فِي يَزِيدَ» ثُمَّ ذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نُعِيَ إِلَيَّ حُسَيْنٌ وَأُتِيتُ بِتُرْبَتِهِ وَأُخْبِرْتُ بِقَاتِلِهِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا يُقْتَلُ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْ قَوْمٍ لَا يَمْنَعُوهُ إِلَّا خَالَفَ اللهُ بَيْنَ صُدُورِهِمْ وَقُلُوبِهُمْ وَسَلَّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ شِرَارَهُمْ وأَلْبَسَهُمْ شِيَعًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَاهًا لِفِرَاخِ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنْ خَلِيفَةٍ مُسْتَخْلَفٍ مُتْرَفٍ يَقْتُلُ خَلَفِي وَخَلَفَ الْخَلَفِ أَمْسِكْ يَا مُعَاذُ» فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُ عَشَرَةً قَالَ «الْوَلِيدُ اسْمُ فِرْعَوْنَ هَادِمِ شَرَائِعِ الْإِسْلَامِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَسُلُّ اللهُ سَيْفَهُ فَلَا غِمَادَ لَهُ وَاخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فَكَانُوا هَكَذَا» وَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «بَعْدَ الْعِشْرِينَ وَمِئَةٍ مَوْتٌ سَرِيعٌ وَقَتْلٌ ذَرِيعٌ فَفِيهِ هَلَاكُهُمْ وَيْلِي عَلَيْهِمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ وَلَدِ الْعَبَّاسِ»

✧ Amr b. Bukayr b. Bakkar al-Qanabi narrated to us, Mujashi b. Amr narrated to us, both said: Abdullah b. Lahiah narrated to us, from Abu Qabil: Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As narrated to me that Muadh b. Jabal informed him, saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with a changed complexion and said: "I am Muhammad. I was given the openings of speech and its closings, so obey me as long as I am among you. When I am taken away, then hold fast to the Book of Allah, glorified and exalted be He. Make lawful its lawful, and forbid its forbidden. It has come to you with the spirit and the ease, a Book from Allah that has preceded. Tribulations will come to you like patches of the dark night. Whenever messengers go, messengers come. Prophethood was succeeded and became kingship. May Allah have mercy on one who takes it by its right and leaves it as he entered it. Hold back, O Muadh, and count." He said: When I reached five, he said: "Yazid. Allah will not bless Yazid." Then the eyes of the Prophet ﷺ shed tears, then he said: "Husayn was announced to me as killed, and I was brought his soil, and I was informed of his killer. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, he is not killed among a people who do not defend him except that Allah will cause discord between their chests and hearts, give their wicked ones power over them, and clothe them in sects." Then he said: "Alas for the offspring of the family of Muhammad ﷺ from a successor appointed, a luxurious one who will kill my successor and the successor of the successor. Hold back, O Muadh." When I reached ten, he said: "Al-Walid is the name of a Pharaoh, a destroyer of the laws of Islam. Before him is a man from a household; Allah will draw his sword and there will be no sheath for it. The people differed and were thus," and he interlaced his fingers, then said: "After one hundred and twenty, there will be swift death and rapid killing. In that will be their destruction. Woe to them from a man of the descendants of al-Abbas."
