حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ قَالَ
مَرَّ عَلِيٌّ ؓ عَلَى كَعْبٍ فَقَالَ «يُقْتَلُ مِنْ وَلَدِ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ رَجُلٌ فِي عِصَابَةٍ لَا يَجِفُّ عَرَقُ خُيُولِهِمْ حَتَّى يَرِدُوا عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ» فَمَرَّ حَسَنٌ ؓ فَقَالُوا هَذَا يَا أَبَا إِسْحَاقِ؟ قَالَ «لَا» فَمَرَّ حُسَيْنٌ فَقَالُوا هَذَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

✧ Ali ؓ passed by Ka'b and said, “A man from the children of this man will be killed among a band whose horses’ sweat will not dry before they arrive at Muhammad ﷺ.” Then Hasan ؓ passed by, and they said, “This one, O Abu Ishaq?” He said, “No.” Then Husayn passed by, and they said, “This one?” He said, “Yes.”
