حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ ؓ فَمَرَّ عَلَى بَيْتِ فَاطِمَةَ فَسَمِعَ حُسَيْنًا يَبْكِي ؓ فَقَالَ «أَلَمْ تَعْلَمِي أَنَّ بُكاءَهُ يُؤْذِينِي؟»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out of 'A'ishah's house ؓ and passed by Fatimah's house, and he heard Husayn crying ؓ, so he said, "Do you not know that his crying hurts me?"
