حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ثنا بَرْذَعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَمَّيْتُهُمَا يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ بِاسْمِ ابْنَيْ هَارُونَ شَبَرَ وَشُبَيْرَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'I have named them—meaning al-Hasan and al-Husayn—after the two sons of Aaron: Shabar and Shubayr.'
