حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ شَيْءٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ الْأُمَمُ قَبْلَكُمْ وَقَدْ بَقِيَتْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْهُ بَقِيَّةٌ فَتَقَعُ أَحْيَانًا وَيَذْهَبُ أَحْيَانًا فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “This epidemic is something with which the nations before you were punished, and there remains on the earth a remnant of it. It occurs at times and goes at times. So if it occurs in a land while you are in it, do not leave it; and if it occurs in a land where you are not, do not enter upon it.”
