حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ حَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الْقَوْمُ يَأْتُونَ الدَّارَ فَيَسْتَأْذِنُ وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَيُجْزِئُ عَنْهُمْ جَمِيعًا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قِيلَ فَيَرُدُّ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِ الْجَمِيعِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قِيلَ الْقَوْمُ يَمُرُّونَ فَيُسَلِّمُ وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِ الْجَمِيعِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قِيلَ فَيَرُدُّ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِ الْجَمِيعِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

✧ It was said, “O Messenger of God, a group of people come to a house and one of them asks permission—does that suffice for all of them?” He said, “Yes.” It was said, “And one man of the group responds—does that suffice for the whole group?” He said, “Yes.” It was said, “A group passes by and one of them gives the greeting of peace—does that suffice for all of them?” He said, “Yes.” It was said, “And one man of the group returns the greeting—does that suffice for the whole group?” He said, “Yes.”
