حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُرِّيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ قَابُوسَ بْنِ الْمُخَارِقِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
جَاءَتْ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ بَعْضَ جِسْمِكَ فِيَّ فَقَالَ «نِعْمَ مَا رَأَيْتِ تَلِدُ فَاطِمَةُ غُلَامًا وتُرْضِعِينَهُ بِلَبَنِ قُثَمَ» قَالَ فَجَاءَتْ بِهِ تَحْمِلُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَوَضَعَتْهُ فِي حِجْرِهِ فَبَالَ فَلَطَمَتْهُ بِيَدِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَوْجَعْتِ ابْنِي رَحِمَكِ اللهُ» قَالَتْ هَاتِ إِزَارَكَ حَتَّى نَغْسِلَهُ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا يُغْسَلُ بَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ وَيُنْضَحُ بَوْلُ الْغُلَامِ»

✧ Umm al-Faḍl came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said, “I saw a part of your body in me.” He said, “You have seen well. Fāṭimah will give birth to a boy, and you will suckle him with the milk of Qutham.” He said: She came carrying him to the Prophet ﷺ and placed him in his lap, and he urinated, so she slapped him with her hand. The Prophet ﷺ said, “You have hurt my son, may God have mercy on you.” She said, “Give me your waist-wrapper so that we may wash it.” He said, “Only the urine of a girl is washed, and the urine of a boy is sprinkled.”
