حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ عَزَّةَ بِنْتِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِرْصَافَةَ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ابْنُوا الْمَسَاجِدَ وَأَخْرِجُوا الْقُمَامَةَ مِنْهَا فَمَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ» قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَهَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدُ الَّتِي تُبْنَى فِي الطَّرِيقِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِخْرَاجُ الْقُمَامَةِ مِنْهَا مُهُورُ حُورِ الْعِينِ
Translation

✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “Build mosques and remove rubbish from them, for whoever builds a mosque for God, God builds for him a house in Paradise.” A man said, “O Messenger of God, and these mosques that are built along the road?” He said, “Yes, and removing rubbish from them is the dowry of the wide-eyed houris.”
