حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الزَّرْقَاءِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ أَبُو حَمَّادٍ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنْ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ وَمَنْ لَا يَغْفِرْ لَا يُغْفَرْ لَهُ وَمَنْ لَا يَتُبْ لَا يَتُبْ عَلَيْهِ»
Translation
Chain of narrators
- ʿAbdān b. Aḥmad
- Hārūn b. Zayd b. Abū al-Zarqāʾ from my father
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy, and whoever does not forgive will not be forgiven, and whoever does not repent will not be granted repentance.”
