حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا يَقُولُ «بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدَيَّ هَذِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَشَرَطَ عَلَيَّ النُّصْحَ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ» فَوَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ إِنِّي لَنَاصِحٌ لَكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Translation

✧ I heard Jarir say: “I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of God ﷺ with this hand of mine upon Islam, and he stipulated upon me sincere counsel for every Muslim.” By the Lord of the Kaaba, I am indeed a sincere counselor to all of you.
