حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُعْمَلُ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ هُمْ أَعَزُّ وَأَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ يَعْمَلُهُ لَمْ يُغَيِّرُوا إِلَّا أَصَابَهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no group of people who commit sins among themselves, yet they are more honorable and greater in number than those who avoid committing them, except that Allah will surely inflict His punishment upon them."
