✧ The lineage of Zubayr b. al-Awwam "Zubayr b. al-Awwam b. Khawilid b. Asad b. Abd al-Uzza b. Qusayy b. Kilab b. Murrah b. Ka'b b. Lu'ayy b. Ghalib b. Fihr b. Malik, known as Abu Abdullah, and his mother: Safiyyah bt. Abd al-Muttalib, the aunt of the Messenger.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ «قُتِلَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَقُتِلَ سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ»

Translation

✧ I heard Muhammad b. Abdullah b. Numayr say, "Zubayr was killed at the age of sixty-four, and he was killed in the year thirty-six."
