Disbelief of the Misguided Jahmiyyah about the Beatific Vision

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ جَرِيرٌ يُحَدِّثُ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَبَقَ الْعَبْدُ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ وَإِنْ مَاتَ مَاتَ كَافِرًا» فَأَبَقَ غُلَامٌ لِجَرِيرٍ فَأَخَذَهُ فَضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ «مَعْنَاهُ أَنَّهُ كَفَرَ وَلَحِقَ بِدَارِ الْحَرْبِ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When a slave runs away, no prayer is accepted from him, and if he dies, he dies as a disbeliever." Then a slave of Jarir ran away, so he seized him and struck his neck. Abu al-Qasim said: "Its meaning is that he disbelieved and joined the abode of war."
