حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ الْعِجْلِيُّ وَالْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ ذِي رَحِمٍ يَأْتِي رَحِمَهُ فَيَسْأَلُهُ فَضْلًا أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ إِيَّاهُ فَيَبْخَلُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أُخْرِجَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ حَيَّةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا شُجَاعٌ يَتَلَمَّظُ فَيُطَوَّقُ بِهِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "There is no one with a relative who comes to him asking for some of the surplus that Allah has given him, and he withholds it from him, except that on the Day of Resurrection a serpent from Hell is brought out for him, called Shuja', which will slither and be made to encircle him."
