حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَارُودِيُّ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ الْقُمِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي رِبْعِيٍّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ابْسُطْ يَدَكَ أُبَايِعْكَ وَخُذْ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِالشَّرْطِ مِنِّي قَالَ «أُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكَ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَتُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةَ وَتُؤْتِيَ الزَّكَاةَ وَتَنْصَحَ الْمُسْلِمَ وَتُفَارِقَ الْمُشْرِكَ»

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, stretch out your hand so I may pledge allegiance to you, and set the conditions upon me, for you know the conditions better than I." He said, "I pledge allegiance to you on the basis that you do not associate anything with God, that you establish prayer, give zakah, give sincere counsel to the Muslim, and separate from the polytheist."
