حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اشْتَرِطْ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِالشَّرْطِ مِنِّي ثُمَّ ابْسُطْ يَدَكَ فَأُبَايِعَكَ قَالَ «تَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ وَتَنْصَحُ الْمُسْلِمَ وَتُفَارِقُ الْمُشْرِكَ»

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, stipulate for me, for you know the conditions better than I; then extend your hand so that I may pledge allegiance to you.” He said, “Worship Allah without associating anything with Him, establish prayer, give zakah, give sincere counsel to the Muslim, and separate from the polytheist.”
