حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مِنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اسْتَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "Make the people listen attentively." Then he said: "Do not revert after me to disbelief, striking one another's necks."
