حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ

أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ بِعُكَّةِ سَمْنٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِلَالًا فَعَصَرَهَا ثُمَّ دَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهَا فَرَجَعَتْ فَإِذَا هِيَ مُمْتَلِئَةٌ فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ نَزَلَ فِيَّ شَيْءٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا أُمَّ مَالِكٍ؟» فَقَالَتْ لِمَ رَدَدْتَ إِلَيَّ هَدِيَّتِي فَدَعَا بِلَالًا فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَقَدْ عَصَرْتُهَا حَتَّى اسْتَحْيَيْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَنِيئًا لَكِ يَا أُمَّ مَالِكٍ هَذِهِ بَرَكَةٌ عَجَّلَ اللهُ ثَوَابَهَا ثُمَّ عَلَّمَهَا فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَشْرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَشْرًا وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ عَشْرًا»

✧ She brought a small skin of ghee to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and the Messenger of God ﷺ ordered Bilāl, who squeezed it and then returned it to her. She went back and found it full, so she came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Has something been revealed concerning me, O Messenger of God? He said: 'And what is that, O Umm Mālik?' She said: Why did you return my gift to me? He called Bilāl and asked him about that. He said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I squeezed it until I felt embarrassed. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Congratulations to you, O Umm Mālik; this is a blessing whose reward God has hastened.' Then he taught her to say after every prayer: 'Glory be to God' ten times, 'Praise be to God' ten times, and 'God is greatest' ten times.
