حَّدَثَنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ وَفِي يَدِهِ سَفَرْجَلَةٌ يُقَلِّبُهَا فَلَمَّا جَلَسْتُ إِلَيْهِ دَحَى بِهَا نَحْوِي ثُمَّ قَالَ «دُونَكَهَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ فَإِنَّهَا تَشُدُّ الْقَلْبَ وَتُطَيِّبُ النَّفْسَ وَتَذْهَبُ بِطَخَاوَةِ الصَّدْرِ»
Translation

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was among a group of his companions, holding a quince in his hand, turning it over. When I sat down beside him, he rolled it toward me and said: “Take it, Abu Muhammad, for it strengthens the heart, purifies the soul, and removes the heaviness of the chest.”
