حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي خَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ أَيُّوبَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهَا قَالَتْ فَصَنَعْنَا لَهُ طَعَامًا فِيهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبُقُولِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الْكُرَّاثُ وَغَيْرُهُ فَكَرِهَهُ وَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «كُلُوا فَإِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ أُؤْذِيَ صَاحِبِيَ»

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ stopped at her place. She said, “We made him food containing some of these herbs.” Sufyān said, “Leeks and other things.” He disliked it and said to his companions, “Eat, for I am not like one of you; I fear I would offend my companion [the angel].”
