al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 21868

✧ The news of Umm Sulaim's ᴿᴬ reaction when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited and prayed in her house.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ أَنَّ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ابْنِ بِنْتِ أَنَسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا قِرْبَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهَا فَشَرِبَ مِنْ فَمِهَا فَقَامَتْ إِلَى فَمِ الْقِرْبَةِ فَقَطَعَتْهَا»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while she had a hanging waterskin, so he went to it and drank from its mouth. Then she went to the mouth of the waterskin and cut it off.
