حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَ بِنْتَ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَعْرُورٍ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي اشْتَرَطْتُ لِزَوْجِي أَنْ لَا أَنْكِحَ بَعْدَهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَصْلُحُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ proposed to the daughter of al-Bara b. Maʿrur, and she said, “I stipulated for my husband that I would not marry after him.” He said, “That is not proper.”
