حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

جَاءَتْ هِنْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاللهِ مَا كَانَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ أَهْلُ خِبَاءٍ أَحَبَّ مِنْ أَنْ يُذِلَّهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ خِبَائِكَ وَمَا عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ الْيَوْمَ أَهْلُ خِبَاءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ يُعِزَّهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ خِبَائِكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَيْضًا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ يَعْنِي لَيَزْدَادَنَّ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ مُمْسِكٌ فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ أُمْسِكَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا حَرَجَ عَلَيْكِ أَنْ تُنْفِقِي عَلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ»

✧ Hind came to the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, there was no one on the face of the earth whom I loved more than your own people. But today, there is no people on earth whom I love more than your own people." The Prophet said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, this is a sign of true faith." Then she said, "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man. Is it permissible for me to spend on his family from his wealth without his permission?" The Prophet said, "There is no harm if you spend on them according to what is reasonable."
