✧ Umm ʿAṭiyyah al-Anṣāriyyah came to us in Basra and said — may my father and mother be ransomed for him, meaning the Prophet ﷺ — “He commanded us to bring out on the two Eids the young unmarried women, the secluded virgins, and the menstruating women. As for the menstruating women, they would keep away from the prayer place but witness the good and the supplication of the Muslims.”
