حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَحَبِيبٍ وَهِشَامٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنِ عَتِيقٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ «نُخْرِجَ الْعَوَاتِقَ وَذَوَاتَ الْخُدُورِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ» فَقِيلَ وَالْحُيَّضُ؟ فَقَالَ «يَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ» قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ لِإِحْدَانَا ثَوْبٌ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ؟ قَالَ «تُلْبِسُهَا صَاحِبَتُهَا طَائِفَةً مِنْ ثَوْبِهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to “bring out on the day of Eid the adolescent girls and those in seclusion.” It was said, “And the menstruating women?” He said, “They should witness the good and the supplication of the Muslims.” A woman said, “O Messenger of Allah, if one of us does not have a garment, what should she do?” He said, “Her companion should let her wear part of her garment.”
